Orontur and the High Pass

Earn Passwarden's Bloom, use your eight attempts, and prepare for The Runaway Bloom.

### Where to find the High Pass

- Complete The Briar-Crowned Ascent at Monster Level 75 or higher. Your first successful completion guarantees Passwarden's Bloom; after you have established access to Orontur, later clears have a 5% chance to award another. - The flower goes to Inventory. If Inventory is full, it goes to Boss Keys. If both are full, it stays in the Writ rewards until you make room. - Once you own Passwarden's Bloom, open the High Pass to begin Orontur's challenge. There is no additional Character-level requirement.

### Attempts and preparation

- Using the key starts a challenge with eight attempts. Entering the arena uses one, so seven remain after your first entry. Each later entry uses another attempt. - The challenge ends when you defeat Orontur or spend the eighth attempt. Dying, returning to Bahast, closing the game, or being interrupted after entering still uses that attempt. - Orontur deals Physical and Wind damage, has high Evasion and low Armor, and regenerates through Overgrowth. Accuracy, Wind resistance, sustain, and damage during exposed windows are the clearest preparation priorities.

### The Runaway Bloom

- Orontur gains Overgrowth every four seconds. Each stack raises Evasion and regenerates Life. High Pass Charge consumes every stack every twenty seconds, then blocks new growth and lowers Evasion for five seconds. - Crown Sweep strikes twice. Pollen Gale deals Wind damage and applies Sporeblind, reducing Character Accuracy by 15% for six seconds. - At half Life, Antlerbloom raises maximum Overgrowth to seven and adds Wind damage per stack. At one-fifth Life, Wild Unbound replaces Overgrowth regeneration with attack speed and Wind damage and creates stacks every two seconds.

### Victory

- Each victory gives three or four equipment rewards and one Wildheart Fragment. Orontur's Uniques are Crown of the High Pass, Rootwoven Hide, and Briar-Crowned Longbow. All other equipment rewards are item-level-105 God-Touched items, with a 70% chance to favor Tanyl. - The fragment goes to Inventory, then Boss Keys if Inventory is full. If neither has room, it stays in the boss rewards until you can claim it. Orontur does not drop the removed Shard of Rhistel.
